Charlotte Jones
Biography
Charlotte Jones joined Baker McKenzie in June 2019 as a senior associate and has significant experience across a broad spectrum of UK and international corporate tax matters, with a particular focus on M&A work and international reorganisations.
Since September 2022, Charlotte has served as knowledge lawyer for the London Tax Practice Group, leveraging her technical skills to enhance knowledge management and support strategic client service.
Practice Focus
Charlotte helps the London Tax Practice Group leverage its most important asset, its collective knowledge, to ensure that Baker McKenzie provides the highest quality advice to its clients. In this capacity, Charlotte:
- Keeps the team up to date on key UK and international tax developments.
- Assists fee-earners in drafting client alerts and other thought leadership publications.
- Provides support on technical tax queries.
- Designs and implements the training programme for the London Tax Practice Group.
- Drafts and updates tax precedent documents.
- Manages the collection, organisation, and maintenance of precedents and sample documents within the firm's repositories.
Beyond her core responsibilities, Charlotte actively supports Baker McKenzie's UK pro bono initiatives, including advising on British citizenship applications in collaboration with Coram Children's Legal Centre.
