Diana Sofía Guerrero Venturello
Biography
Diana is a lawyer graduated from the Universidad de los Andes with a minor in management from the Faculty of Administration of the same university, and Specialist in Corporate Law from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. She has experience in advising and consulting for both national and foreign companies in various professional areas, including corporate, commercial, and foreign exchange law, business integrations, consumer protection, personal data protection, and corporate reorganizations. Prior to joining Baker McKenzie in 2023, Diana worked in the Corporate Law practice at Ernst & Young Colombia.
Practice Focus
Diana focuses her practice on legal research, corporate governance, and business reorganizations. She has advised national and foreign clients on corporate, commercial, and foreign exchange-related matters to ensure compliance with their corporate obligations. Her experience includes providing guidance to foreign clients in implementing their businesses in Colombia through various legal vehicles, compliance with corporate obligations, capitalization processes, liquidation, share transfers, and statutory reforms, among other areas.
