Hilary Brownlow is an associate in the Commercial Real Estate team at Baker McKenzie, Sydney. Hilary focuses on real property transactions. She joined the Sydney office in 2000 from London, and has practiced in real estate law both in London and Australia. Hilary has also delivered presentations on commercial, retail and institutional real estate leasing transactions in Australia and is involved in Baker McKenzie’s pro bono projects. She is a member of the NSW Law Society, National Association of Women in Construction Australia, Property Council of Australia and is a justice of the peace.
Hilary focuses her practice on commercial, retail and institutional real property leasing. In both retail and commercial corporate real estate leasing, she acts for local and global clients. Hilary has been responsible for a number of Australian roll-outs for key national and international brands and businesses, helping with the development of concept stores and offices throughout Australia and advising on the impact of different state-based retail legislation applying throughout Australia. Hilary's institutional leasing experience ranges from shopping centres to CBD commercial office buildings in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
