Biography

Dr. Anna Verena Böhm is a counsel in Baker McKenzie's Frankfurt office and a certified specialist for labor and employment law (Fachanwältin für Arbeitsrecht). She joined the Firm in 2007. Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, she spent several years working for a consultant firm specialized in pension law. Anna Verena studied law at the University of Heidelberg where she graduated in 2000. She completed her doctorate studies at the law faculty of the University of Heidelberg and passed her second state exam in 2003.

Verena regularly speaks and presents at conferences and seminars and authors articles and precedents on pension and employee benefit related issues. She is a lecturer on pension law at the Deutsche Anwaltakademie (DAA).

Practice Focus

Anna Verena advises and represents domestic and multinational companies in all employment and pension law matters, particularly in restructuring processes. Her practice includes negotiations with works council, litigation and design, change and termination of employment and service contracts as well as pension and other benefit plans. She regularly holds seminars on employment and pension law related issues.
