Baker McKenzie has advised Brookfield on two European real estate investments that expand its presence across both the residential living and hospitality sectors.

In the Nordics, Brookfield has established a major new living platform through a joint venture with The MESH Group, acquiring six newly built Unity Living assets across Sweden and Finland to serve students, young professionals and corporate tenants in undersupplied urban markets.

Meanwhile Brookfield has entered the Greek hospitality sector for the first time through a joint venture with Domes Resorts, acquiring a majority stake in the award winning Domes Zeen Chania luxury resort in Crete.

Both transactions were led by Private Equity Real Estate Partner, Mark Thompson.
