The government has published the next tranche of consultations relating to the Employment Rights Bill. They cover: (1) enhanced dismissal protections for pregnant women and new mothers; (2) leave for bereavement, including pregnancy loss; (3) a duty to inform workers of the right to join a union; and (4) trade union rights of access. The first two consultations close on 15 January 2026 and the latter two close on 18 December 2025.
