Description

The Client Matter Management Solutions Engineer will support the business applications and operational activities related to New Business Intake / Conflicts, Contract Management, and AML/KYC systems.  This position provides primary technical expertise and support to the Product Manager and is responsible for maintaining sound technical architecture and solutions to support the Intake & Risk, Contract Management, and AML/KYC systems, assisting with the implementation of critical business strategies to help bridge the relationship between technology and the various business groups.

Responsibilities:

  • To be involved in the technical planning, coordination, and completion of intake, and risk projects and perform a variety of tasks including identifying/foreseeing clients' needs, the configuration of system enhancements and requirements, setting deadlines, identifying and managing required resources and responsibilities, and monitoring project deliverables  ·
  • Maintain good health and maintenance of the products and technical solutions that support Intake & Risk Mgmt. by ensuring proper backups, system alerts, and archiving plans are implemented and maintained·
  • Provide technical support for deploying functional-related tasks, and act as primary lead for deploying technical solutions, software upgrades, and hotfixes in coordination with the functional teams·
  • Work with the Product Manager, Business Analysts, Developers, and other technical resources to develop new solutions, and process improvements, and serve as the conduit between the customer community and the technology project to deliver improvements to the client/matter lifecycle·
  • Perform and manage technical tasks relating to planning, requirements analysis, design, testing and/or implementation·
  • Provide technical guidance to functional and technical support team members in resolving issues as they arise.·
  • Create and maintain technical documentation (Architecture Document, Technical Specifications Document, etc.) for all supported systems and implementations
  • Liaise with the functional and technical support teams to ensure project deadlines are met and deliverables are performed with uncompromising quality·
  • Coordinate and perform application testing and troubleshooting as required·
  • Assist team members with analysis and project-related tasks

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business or a related field or equivalent work experience·
  • Experience with legal business system technologies, such as Business Process Management or accounting systems·
  • A strong level of technical experience or business analysis experience within the legal industry is preferred·
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as ideas and managing stakeholders' expectations regarding their requests·
  • Ability to cultivate collaborative relationships with other firm departments and co-workers·
  • Excellent technical, analytical ability, and time management skills·
  • Assertiveness and confidence to interact with different levels of the organization·
  • Manage different technical projects/initiatives concurrently with varying degrees of priorities and deadlines·
  • Must be able to work independently, and manage day-to-day workload and responsibilities·
  • Substantial familiarity with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project), Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, Microsoft SQL, and SharePoint·Knowledge of risk systems (e.g. Intapp Open and other Intapp products) is helpful
