Oumie Winckler
Biography
Oumie Winckler is a member of the Banking & Finance Practice Group at Baker McKenzie’s Stockholm office. Oumie joined Baker McKenzie in 2023, having previously worked as an associate at a Nordic law firm where she represented clients in corporate and M&A transactions.
Practice Focus
Oumie combines her corporate experience with her focus on finance transactions to represent investment and commercial banks, private credit funds, borrowers, and private equity firms in a broad range of leveraged finance transactions, including acquisition financings, debt restructurings and investment grade lending with a particular focus on US and cross-border financing transactions.
Representative Legal Matters
- Advised major US banks as lead arrangers on matters of Swedish law in connection with a New York law governed senior secured credit agreement providing for a USD 710 million revolving credit facility, a USD 500 million term loan facility and a EUR 700 million term loan facility to Amer Sports, Inc. and certain of its subsidiaries.
- Advised leading US banks serving as lead arrangers, and bookrunners on Swedish law related aspects in connection with a refinancing of a New York law-governed senior secured term loan credit facility and the establishment of a new term loan credit facility.
- Advised US private debt providers as lenders on aspects of Swedish law in connection with an existing New York law-governed secured term loan facility, including a Swedish acquisition and on the subsequent guarantee and security-take up.
- Advised a US bank, acting as agent and lead arranger, on the establishment of a new class of refinancing term loans under an existing New York law-governed term loan credit facility agreement.
- Advised an international bank, as lender, on a SEK 600 million term loan credit facility agreement governed by Swedish law.
- Advised Nalka Invest on the financing transaction in connection with Nalka’s acquisition of Norstat AS.
