Biography
Max van Velthoven is an associate in the Corporate M&A Practice Group of Baker McKenzie Amsterdam. He joined the Firm in 2021. Max advises on corporate and contract law.
Practice Focus
Max focuses on mergers and acquisitions, including corporate takeovers, joint ventures and other alliances, for private equity and strategic parties. He is regularly involved in coordinating large cross-border due diligence investigations and the drafting of commercial contracts.

- Advised Blackstone on the acquisition of a stake in Esdec Solar group from Rivean Capital.
- Advised Egeria on the sale of IQI to OSI Group.
- Advised FSN Capital on the acquisition of OptiGroup, Hygas, TPC and BFG.
- Advised Ilionx on its acquisition of Inergy from Main Capital Partners.
