Abigail Saffron
Biography
Abigail is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Corporate Finance Department in London. She joined Baker McKenzie in March 2020 as a trainee solicitor, qualifying in March 2022, and has completed short term secondments to each of bp plc and Haleon plc.
Practice Focus
Abigail's practice comprises a mix of public and private M&A, corporate reorganisations and equity capital markets transactions, as well as the provision of general corporate governance and regulatory compliance advice to listed clients.

M&A
- Britvic PLC – currently acting for Carlsberg Group in connection with its GBP 3.3 billion cash offer for Britvic plc.
- XP Power Limited – acted for Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: AEIS) on its proposed all cash offer for London-listed, Singapore Takeover Code-governed, XP Power, with the latest possible offer valuing the equity at GBP 468 million.
- Formed part of the team acting as secretary to the Takeover Appeal Board on the appeal in relation to MWB Group Holdings Plc.
- Kape Technologies plc – acted for Unikmind Holdings Limited, owned by Teddy Sagi, on its unrecommended offer for the remaining shares in Kape, valuing the entire issued and to be issued share capital of Kape at approximately USD 1.51 billion.
- Zedra Management SA – acted for Zedra in its acquisition of the UK, Isle of Man and Switzerland entities from AlTi Global.
- Formed part of the team acting as secretary to the UK Takeover Panel Hearings Committee in relation to Amicrest Holdings Plc.

- A major healthcare multi-national with global restructuring projects, including the pre-sale restructuring of a significant business division ahead of a carve out acquisition by a strategic buyer.
- A global leader in the Flavours and Fragrances sector with a series of post-acquisition integration projects and entity rationalisations.
- A wholesale supplier of specialist chilled foods on its restoration to the Register of Companies and its subsequent strike off.
- An American oilfield services company on its UK and Scotland restructuring prior to its amalgamation pursuant to section 900 Companies Act 2006.
Corporate Responsibility
- Acts as the Pro Bono Coordinator for the Corporate Finance Department.
