Biography

Harrison Richards is an associate in the Tax Practice Group of Baker McKenzie’s Washington DC office. Prior to joining the Firm, Harrison worked for a boutique tax law firm.

Practice Focus

Harrison focuses his practice on complex US and international tax matters, including income tax accounting, partnership and corporate tax, payroll and fringe benefits and cross border structuring. He has advised clients on the tax treatment of multi billion dollar settlements, novel financial instruments, and large scale energy transactions, as well as partnership reorganizations, profits interests, and taxable and tax free corporate transactions. Harrison advises on inbound and outbound business activities, tax treaties, withholding, and subpart F, and has represented clients in IRS audits and mutual agreement procedures.
