- Advised PT Vale Indonesian Tbk on the development, construction, and operation of a nickel mine and HPAL processing facility in Sorowako, Indonesia with Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd.
- Advised Sev.en Global Investments on its acquisition of Australian Salt Lake Potash Pty Ltd and the Lake Way potash project in Western Australia from Salt Lake Potash Limited.
- Advised Sev.en Global Investments on its acquisition of Vales Point Power Station and the Chain Valley Colliery in New South Wales.
- Advised Sev.en Global Investments on its acquisition of coal royalties in Queensland from Coca-Cola Amatil Ltd for consideration of AUD 70 million.
- Advised Sev.en Global Investments on its majority acquisition of shares in Coronado Global Resources Inc.
- Advise bidders in respect of the proposed acquisitions of Daunia Coal Mine, Blackwater Coal Mine, Illawarra Coal Mine, Ensham Coal Mine, Wilkie Creek Coal Mine, Gonneville Nickel Copper-PGE Project and interests in lithium exploration assets in Argentina and Chile.
Oil and gas
- Advised SK E&S on matters relating to its acquisition of a 25% interest in Darwin LNG, Darwin Pipeline and the Bayu-Undan gas field and its interest in the Barossa gas field for USD 390 million.
- Advised an international family fund on its +USD 130 million investment commitment to EIG’s MidOcean Energy.
- Advised ADZ Energy Pty Ltd on its acquisition of petroleum operating / exploration projects across Australia from Armour Energy Limited (In Liquidation).
- Advised Empire Energy Group on development its gas project in the Beetaloo Basin, Northern Territory.
Hydrogen / renewables
- Advised CS Energy on its acquisition and development of Lotus Creek Wind Farm for a total consideration of USD 1.3 billion.
- Advised an Australian hydrogen producer on entry into (i) a consortium agreement for the funding and offtake of hydrogen with various Japanese trading houses, (ii) port access permit and (iii) refueller services agreements, for a hydrogen refuelling and transport project seeking to transport hydrogen from Australia to Japan using a hydrogen fuel cell electric boat.
