Biography

Clarissa Rach is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Munich office since 2022. She studied law at EBS Law School and Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics and holds an MBA from EBS Business School. Before entering commercial practice, Clarissa completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt am Main and at an international law firm in Munich specializing in patent litigation.

Practice Focus

Clarissa advises German and international clients on all aspects of commercial, contract, and distribution law, with particular experience in the automotive, healthcare, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. Her work includes drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, structuring sales and distribution frameworks, purchase, supply and service agreements, production contracts, and advice on IT contract law, often with cross-border implications. She also has extensive knowledge on German law governing general terms and conditions. Further, Clarissa advises on corporate transactions, supporting clients both on the commercial aspects and on data protection, IT law, and regulatory requirements.

Drawing on three years of prior experience in IT and data protection law, Clarissa incorporates technology, data, and regulatory considerations into her commercial advice. This background strengthens her support for clients with digital business models and technology driven commercial projects.
