Biography

Juliana is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Tax Practice Group in Toronto. Juliana joined the Firm in 2022 as a summer student and completed her articles with the Firm in 2024.

Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Juliana obtained her juris doctor degree from the University of Ottawa, with a specialization in dispute resolution. As a law student, Juliana was a caseworker at the Community Legal Clinic, and competed on various moots, including the 2023 Donald G. H. Bowman National Tax Moot.

Practice Focus

Juliana's practice focuses on tax litigation and representations to the Canadian tax authorities at the federal and provincial levels on a wide range of tax controversies. Her most recent involvements include transfer pricing, GST/HST and provincial sales taxes.
