Richard advises clients (mostly multinational companies) on structuring and implementing complex cross border reorganisations, and carve-out transactions. Recent highlights include advising Emerson Electric on the carve-out and divestment of its power transmission solutions business to Regal Beloit Corporation in 2015 and on the carve-out and divestment of its Network Power business to Platinum Equity in 2016. More recently, Richard advised SUEZ, on its acquisition and carve-out of GE Water & Process Technologies from General Electric Company in 2017.
Richard helps clients — mostly multinational companies — structure, implement and manage cross-border reorganizations efficiently while ensuring compliance with local and international legal requirements. He is part of a dedicated team in London focused on international reorganizations and business transformation projects.
