Janeth Morales Frutis

Janeth advises clients on the compliance with tax obligations related to the filing of legal entities' tax returns, payments abroad, CUCA (capital contribution account), CUFIN (net after tax profit account), and tax losses. She prepares and revises several tax calculations: annual and estimated calculations, sale of shares of individuals and entities residing in Mexico and abroad, as well as capital reductions. Likewise, she is in charge of the revision and preparation of the information required to recover federal taxes favorable balances through refund requests.

Janeth is also knowledgeable in the coordination of the preparation and issuance of tax reports. She is also knowledgeable in the coordination of all type of formalities with the tax authorities and in the preparation of documentary evidence to attend audits and requirements issued by them.

Her clients base includes commercial, industrial and service companies.

• Advised Airtran Airways Inc. and Southwest Airlines Co. on the recovery of the VAT unduly paid in Mexico for the purchase of fuel for the aircrafts thereof.
  
  
• Advised ESET LLC. on the recovery of the income tax unduly withheld by the clients thereof in the sale of standardized software.
