Biography
Tiarna is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Corporate M&A practice in London. Tiarna primarily advises clients in relation to cross-border mergers and acquisitions and global carve-out transactions. Tiarna also provides counsel regarding general corporate matters, shareholder arrangements and corporate reorganisations.
Tiarna is also part of the London office’s warranty and indemnity insurance practice, advising clients and the wider Baker McKenzie network on policy placements around the globe.

Advised Hitachi Ltd. on its USD 11 billion acquisition of ABB's power grids business in over 100 jurisdictions (the largest ever acquisition by a Japanese industrial company).

Advised Emerson on its sale of its Climate Technologies business to Blackstone for USD 14 billion, a carve-out across 44 countries.

Advised Sika, the Swiss global construction chemicals group, on the successful EUR 5.3 billion acquisition of the Master Builder Construction Chemicals (MBCC) Group from Lone Star (the largest acquisition in Sika’s 113-year history). In addition to the acquisition, advised in relation to the signing of a divestment transaction with a new buyer, the international private equity investor Cinven and implemented a large scale and complex carve-out.
