Biography

Philipp Matzke is an associate in the Employment Group in Baker McKenzie's Munich office. He joined Baker McKenzie in November 2019 as a law clerk during his legal traineeship and became an associate in 2021. Prior to joining the Firm he was employed as a research assistant at the University of Goettingen and clerked for another international law firm in Munich. He spent his legal traineeship in the jurisdiction of the Higher Regional Court Brunswick (Lower Saxony) and passed the second state exam in 2020.

Practice Focus

Philipp advises companies on all labor and employment law-related matters, such as terminations and drafting employment contracts. He also gives advice to companies with regard to mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and works council issues.
