Biography

William Logsdon is an associate at Baker McKenzie's office in Chicago. He advises multinational companies on international trade, regulatory compliance, customs and import law, supply chain-related matters, and cross-border compliance and commercial issues.

William graduated from The George Washington University Law School, where he served as the Senior Articles Editor of the International Law in Domestic Courts Journal and worked closely with Oxford University Press. During law school, William clerked at the US Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration's Office of the Chief Counsel for Trade Enforcement and Compliance (CCTEC) and Office of the Chief Counsel for International Commerce (OCCIC), where he worked on antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) litigation, and EU and WTO trade matters, respectively. William also interned at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, where he joined the regulator's Office of General Counsel to provide compliance support and oversight of financial audits of public companies.

Practice Focus

William advises clients on various regulatory compliance and trade issues, concentrating on the US export controls such as the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), economic and trade sanctions, and US customs and import laws.
