Biography

Eva Kriechbaumer is a senior associate in Baker McKenzie’s Munich office and a member of the Corporate/M&A Practice Group. Eva joined the Firm in 2015 as a law clerk. In 2018, she absolved 3 months of her legal clerkship in Baker McKenzie’s Sydney office. In 2022, Eva worked as an associate in the M&A and private equity group of Baker McKenzie’s Zurich office for 6 months.

Practice Focus

Eva focuses her practice on all types of M&A and private equity transactions, as well as joint ventures, reorganizations, general corporate law and corporate compliance matters. Eva also advises on internal compliance investigations, structuring and assessment of compliance management systems as well as corporate and compliance risk assessments in due diligences for domestic and cross-border M&A and private equity transactions.

  • Advised Embracer on the acquisition of several game developing studios and publishers (incl. Deca Live Operations GmbH, Easybrain, CrazyLabs).
  • Advised TerraNet AB on its Series A investment in German AR/XR technology developer holoride GmbH.
  • Advised Cognizant in its acquisition of ESG Mobility, a digital automotive engineering R&D provider for connected, autonomous and electric vehicles.
  • Advised a global safety science company in its acquisition of a German based international group of companies specializing in process engineering, software solutions, training and consulting services with a focus on safety-critical aspects in the automotive, medical and aerospace industries.
  • Advised AURELIUS on the acquisition of Minova Group.
