Biography

Klara Keglevic joined the Dispute Resolution Practice Group in Baker McKenzie's Vienna office in 2023 with a strong focus on white-collar criminal law. She already has extensive experience in the field of criminal law and in particular white-collar criminal law. Prior to joining, Klara acquired in-depth knowledge on criminal law and criminal procedure law as a research assistant at the University of Vienna. In addition she gained already valuable experience in the defense of accused persons and companies in well-known white-collar criminal law firms.

Practice Focus

Klara defends accused in criminal and in particular white collar criminal proceedings. This includes assistance and defense in preliminary proceedings, preparation of main proceedings, as well as defense in court. She also prepares appeals against judgments and other decisions of the courts. The defense is not limited to private individuals, but is also offered to companies. In addition, Klara also undertakes the representation and counseling of victims in criminal and in particular white-collar criminal proceedings.
