Sara Karetko
Biography
Sara Karetko is a candidate civil law notary within the Amsterdam corporate structures team since 2021. She works closely together with the firm’s legal and tax professionals across the world to ensure integrated transaction support. Sara is also an active member of Lequal, an organization dedicated to promoting cultural and intersectional diversity within the legal profession in the Netherlands.
Practice Focus
Sara is experienced in Dutch (notarial) corporate law and advises on domestic and cross-border restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance matters. She is proficient in domestic and cross-border (solvent) corporate reorganizations including the establishment of new corporate structures.

- Assisted in various restructurings, mergers and acquisitions for globally operating multinationals.
- Advised a NYSE-listed manufacturing company on an internal restructuring involving multiple jurisdictions.
- Advised S&P Global on its merger with IHS Markit, creating a leading information services provider with a unique portfolio of highly complementary assets.
- Assisted with the acquisition of a majority stake in Esdec Solar Group by Blackstone from Rivean Capital.
