Raphaël Hendrickx is a junior associate in the IP and Technology Group in the Brussels office. He joined Baker McKenzie in 2021.
Practice Focus
Raphaël advises clients on intellectual property and ICT-related matters, with a focus on tech, e-commerce, telecom and audio-visual content services regulation.
Representative Legal Matters
- Assisted several large electronic communications services providers with the setting up of electronic communications services or networks in Belgium, including the regulatory and contractual aspects thereof.
- Assisted global audio-visual content service providers with local financial contributions duties under the Audiovisual Media Services Directive (AVMS Directive - Directive 2018/1808) and its implementing acts/decrees in Belgium.
- Advised multinational technology companies that specialize in consumer electronics, software and online services with the implementation of satellite-based communication capabilities as well as emergency-related communications services in Belgium.
- Advised major car manufacturers on regulatory telecom as well as data retention duties in Belgium.
