Deanna Clarisse M. Heceta
Biography
Deanna Clarisse M. Heceta is an associate in Quisumbing Torres’ Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Prior to joining the Firm, she was an associate in one of the leading full-service law firms in the Philippines.
She obtained her Juris Doctor degree as a Chief Justice Fred Ruiz Castro Scholar and received a Dean’s Medal for Academic Excellence from the University of the Philippines. She served as an Editor for Volume 91 of the Philippine Law Journal and, during her term, headed the Special Issue on Law and the Economy. She then served as Chairperson of Volume 93 of the Philippine Law Journal. Deanna was admitted to the Philippine bar in 2022.
Practice Focus
Deanna’s practice focuses on dispute resolution. Her practice also involves arbitration, corporate, criminal, labor, and civil litigation. She is experienced in handling trademarks and patents, corporate compliance, energy law, and other special projects. She assists several multinational corporations across a wide range of industries, including financial institutions, consumer goods & retail, industrials, manufacturing, energy, mining, infrastructure, and healthcare & life sciences.
