Vanessa's practice focuses on guiding multinational companies through the structuring, implementation and management of complex cross-border corporate reorganization projects. She has extensive experience in post-acquisition integrations, group rationalizations, and carve-outs. She is member of the Firm’s dedicated Global Reorganization Practice Group, supporting clients in international reorganizations and business transformation projects.

• Advised Walgreen Boots Alliance on the German carve-out and reorganization aspect of its c. USD 23.7 billion acquisition by Sycamore Partners.
• Advised Colt Technology Services on the German carve-out aspect of the sale of eight European data centers.
• Advised a global e-commerce company on a multijurisdictional reorganization involving over 30 countries.
• Advised a global consulting firm on multiple reorganizations of its German group entities and numerous post-merger integrations.
• Advised S&P Global on its merger with IHS Markit.
• Advised multiple technology companies on group simplifications.
• Advised numerous clients on re-domiciliation projects, including by way of cross-border merger.
• Advised multinational financial institutions on the restructuring of their regulated European business operations in anticipation of Brexit.
• Advised Platinum Equity on its USD 2.1 billion carve-out acquisition of the LifeScan Business from Johnson and Johnson.
