Balthasar Denger
Biography
Balthasar Denger is a member of Baker McKenzie's Global Tax, Transfer Pricing and Tax Dispute Resolution groups. Before joining the Firm’s Zurich office in April 2016, he served several years as Head of Tax for a global logistics company. Prior to that he worked at a law firm and a Big 4 company. Mr. Denger is an author for the IBFD Tax Portal and a lecturer for international tax and transfer pricing.
Practice Focus
Mr. Denger focuses his practice on international tax with an emphasis on transfer pricing and tax dispute resolution. He has broad experience in international tax planning, tax efficient supply chain management, M&A due diligence and tax reporting. He represents taxpayers in tax audits and in litigation, and advises on alternative dispute resolution mechanisms such as mutual agreement procedures (MAP) and advance pricing agreements (APA). Throughout the years, he has advised clients in the chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotech, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, commodities, financial services, insurance, and information technology industries.
