Christiane Claire Cregencia
Biography
Christiane Claire T. Cregencia is an associate in the Tax Practice Group at Quisumbing Torres, a member firm of Baker & McKenzie International. Before joining the firm, she was an associate at one of the largest law firms in the Philippines.
Claire graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines in 2022, receiving the Dean's Medal for Excellence. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2023, ranking 3rd in the November 2022 bar examinations. Claire is also a certified public accountant.
Practice Focus
Claire's practice focuses on tax planning and transactions, tax dispute resolution, and indirect taxation. She represents and assists clients in tax assessments before the Bureau of Internal Revenue and tax cases before the Court of Tax Appeals. Claire also aids in tax treaty relief applications, provides legal advice on tax structuring, regulatory compliance, and labor standards compliance.
