Biography
Serena Chow is a senior associate in the Taxation team at Baker McKenzie, Sydney. Serena's focus areas include corporate tax matters, and domestic and international acquisitions and reorganizations.
Practice Focus
Serena's practice focuses on Australian taxation and international tax planning related to direct investment in Australia by multinational corporations, as well as tax planning for outbound investment by large Australian enterprises. Serena has also advised on cross-border tax efficient structuring and acquisitions for domestic and foreign companies, and on cross-border payments to ensure efficiency from a tax perspective. She helps clients with due diligence for proposed property and business acquisitions, permanent establishment exposure and individual income tax. Serena has advised clients from a broad range of industry sectors including finance, insurance, real estate and manufacturing.
