Sara Chiang
Biography
Sara Chiang is a partner at Baker McKenzie's Taipei office. Her practice mainly focuses on corporate counseling and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) matters.
Additionally, Sara has extensive experience advising clients in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, chemical, and high-tech industries on corporate establishment, cross-border and domestic investment/M&A planning and execution, foreign investment approvals, and general business-related licensing and permitting.
Her knowledge towards a wide range of corporate and M&A matters, enables her to deliver comprehensive legal counsel to clients across diverse industries.

- Advised international healthcare companies in various projects of business transfer and post-acquisition integration in the pharmaceutical/medical device sectors.
- Advised leading technology companies in the entity/factory establishment, maintenance and compliance of Science-Park-based presences in Taiwan.

- Advised Taiwan-based clients in restructuring of affiliates in Europe, Cayman Islands, BVI, Hong Kong and Taiwan via new entity formation and M&A.
- Advised multinational companies in relation to the establishment, maintenance and compliance of local presences and factories in Taiwan since 2013.
