Biography

Alexandra Cavazos de la Rosa joined Baker McKenzie in 2016 and it is part of the Transactional Practice Group in the Monterrey office. Her practice includes major projects, corporate and commercial law, real estate and infrastructure law, mergers and acquisitions, liquidations, spin-offs, compliance and general corporate matters.

Practice Focus

Alexandra focuses her practice on general corporate and real estate counseling, major projects and infrastructure, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, joint ventures, industrial and commercial leases, foreign investment, among others.

Representative Legal Matters

  • Assisted foreign companies in their operations launch in Mexico, including their corporate structure, acquisition, develop and disposition of their properties, and has also advised clients regarding the exit of their operations in Mexico.
  • Has participated in the analysis and acquisition of industrial and commercial land, including the successful completion of title reports, negotiation of letters of intent, promise to purchase and sale, and the purchase and sale agreements, as well as provided advise regarding the permits and licenses for the operation of the clients' projects in Mexico. 
  • Participated in the analysis, negotiation and advise of trusts and legal structures for the control, assurance, administration and transfer of assets. 
  • Participated and advised companies in different industry sectors on the negotiation and preparation of different restructurings, reorganizations, spin-offs, mergers and acquisitions.
  • Advised international and national companies in different industry sectors on the negotiation and preparation of a variety of commercial contracts in Mexico.
