Biography

Ashley Calcagno is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Litigation and Government Enforcement Practice Group, based in the Firm's Washington, DC office.

While in law school, Ashley served as the Administrative Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy. She also interned for the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and a multinational law firm.  Ashley graduated from the University of Michigan, where she was an NCAA Division I soccer player.

Practice Focus

Ashley's practice focuses on dispute resolutions including commercial litigation and international arbitration.  She also represents multinational companies and local government entities in internal investigations, as well as regularly advises companies on regulatory actions by federal agencies.

Representative Legal Matters

  • Representing federal government contractor in trade secrets misappropriation litigation.
  • Conducted internal investigations for clients in connection with alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, False Claims Act, and other bribery/corruption-related laws.
  • Representing aerospace company in ICC arbitration related to supply contracts.
  • Advising financial services firms and other organizations in connection with SEC inquiries.
