Biography

Paulina is an associate in the Mexico City office with seven years of experience in the legal field. She specializes in data privacy and security, technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT), as well as e-commerce, and commercial and software contracts. Additionally, she handles matters related to the aeronautical industry. Paulina holds an advanced LL.M. in law and digital technologies from Universiteit Leiden in the Netherlands. Her unique perspective comes from a year spent working abroad in Germany's automotive industry. When advising global technology companies on national and cross-border transactions, Paulina offers a wealth of knowledge. Beyond her professional focus, Paulina actively engages in pro bono work, supporting vulnerable communities and startups through projects both within and outside the Firm.

Paulina is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Privacy, Technology, Media, and Telecommunications practice groups and a member of the Industrials, Manufacturing, and Transportation Industry Group in Mexico. Her primary areas of expertise include on advising on technology, data privacy and security, telecommunications, e-commerce, consumer protection, and general contractual law. Paulina brings extensive experience to her role, having advised global companies both in Mexico and abroad. Her work spans across global data privacy and security strategies, cross-border deals, global contractual transactions, and assisting in market entry and service implementation. Additionally, Paulina has specialized knowledge in aviation law, having participated in significant aviation transactions. She has provided counseling to international financial institutions on the purchase and lease of aircraft to Mexican aviation companies and handled various procedures before the Mexican Aviation Authority.
