Cédric Balmot

Cédric is a certified project manager (qualified as a practitioner in the PRINCE2 methodology) and provides expertise for large-scale corporate projects in M&A and corporate reorganizations in the EMEA region. He is involved in various practice areas’ projects as well.

Cédric has extensive experience in identifying and using legal technologies in projects (e.g., client-facing collaborative platforms, diagramming solutions, deal platforms, contract review AI, etc.), but also implementing process standardization.

Cédric obtained a business law degree in France. He speaks fluent French, Russian and English.

Representative experience

• Worked with partners and clients on matters' scoping and pricing, and considering the implications of different arrangements on service delivery and the involvement of non-traditional resourcing.

• Managed large multijurisdictional projects in cooperation with lawyers and various stakeholder groups, such as complex carve-outs with more than 50 jurisdictions involved.

• Implemented process standardization and technology tools to optimize efficiency (e.g., Baker McKenzie Online, Legatics, eBrevia, Tableau, Jigsaw, Office & Dragons, Miro, etc.) and supporting project teams in the management of change.

• Applied various tracking techniques to help control scope, track progress, optimize stakeholder communication and issue resolution.

• Developed customized reports based on clients' internal reporting requirements to simplify complexity and summarize findings.

• Ensured consistency and a teamwork approach across complex projects.
