Samuel Ashford
Biography
Sam is an associate in the Commercial, Regulatory and Trade team based in London. He joined Baker McKenzie as a trainee in 2022 and was admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales in 2024.
Practice Focus
Sam’s practice covers a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters, including consumer protection compliance, e-commerce, platform regulation and product regulatory issues. He also advises on environmental and sustainability related regulatory requirements across the UK and EU.
In addition, Sam advises clients on sanctions, export controls and trade compliance. He has experience advising on sanctions and export control licensing and enforcement, as well as investigations and enforcement actions.
