Baker McKenzie is advising FedEx Corp. on its sale of FedEx Supply Chain, a FedEx subsidiary, to CMA CGM Group in a transaction valuing the business at an enterprise value of USD 1.4 billion. Upon completion, FedEx Supply Chain’s network and nearly 10,000 team members will be integrated into CEVA Logistics, a CMA CGM subsidiary, further strengthening CEVA’s contract logistics capabilities across North America.

CMA CGM and FedEx also expect to enter into multi-year commercial agreements relating to ocean freight and air cargo services. Under the arrangements, CMA CGM is expected to become a preferred ocean carrier for FedEx under a non-exclusive agreement, while the companies will collaborate on select air cargo capacity solutions to enhance their respective network flexibility and aircraft utilization.

The transaction is expected to close in 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.

Led by William Rowe and Michael DeFranco, the Baker McKenzie team also includes Jonathan Susko and Adam Aft.
