Baker McKenzie advises the sellers on Ambienta’s acquisition of a majority stake in The Bridge

Ambienta SGR SpA, one of Europe’s leading asset managers focused on environmental sustainability, has acquired a majority stake in The Bridge S.r.l., a market‑leading company specialized in the development and production of plant‑based dairy alternatives. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in San Pietro Mussolino (Vicenza, Italy), The Bridge develops and produces plant‑based beverages, yogurts and related products, distributing its portfolio internationally, with 80% of its sales generated outside Italy, both under its own brand and through private‑label partnerships.

The founding family, Negro Marcigaglia, has reinvested alongside Ambienta and will continue to play a key role in the company’s growth.
