Baker McKenzie has acted as legal counsel to Fintech-IT Group, a Ukrainian developer of integrated software solutions for digital banking and e-commerce, in its investment round led by the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF). The round values the Company at over USD 1 billion, a milestone in Ukraine’s fintech sector.
UMAEF becomes the first financial investor in Fintech-IT Group, joining the Company’s founders, Oleg Gorokhovskyi and Mykhaylo Rogalskyi. In addition to its direct investment, UMAEF leads a consortium of American private investors investing alongside it.
Baker McKenzie provided comprehensive legal support, including transaction documentation and negotiations.
