Leading global law firm, Baker McKenzie, has hired private equity real estate (PERE),transactional lawyer Mark Thompson, as a partner in its Private Equity team in London, further strengthening the Firm’s global transactional expertise and capabilities.

Mark, who joins from Mishcon de Reya, advises on a range of real estate investments and private equity transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures.

Commenting on the hire, Baker McKenzie's Head of London Corporate, David Allen, said "I am delighted to be welcoming Mark to the Firm. Mark joins the Firm on Monday 11 August and will be based in its London office.
