Baker McKenzie Paris has announced four new appointments within the Competition & Distribution, Tax and Employment Law departments. These promotions are part of Baker McKenzie's ongoing growth strategy, which has seen a total of 107 new partners appointed globally since 1 July 2024 (more information here).

Olivia Chriqui-Guiot has been elected partner in the Competition & Distribution Practice, which she joined in 2021.
Olivia has strong expertise in merger control at both European and national levels and regularly assists French and international clients with complex and strategic projects. She also handles cases involving cartels, abuse of dominant position, damages claims and state aid, both in advisory and litigation roles before competition authorities and national or European courts. She is particularly active in the telecommunications, media, audiovisual production, automotive, aerospace and agri-food sectors.
Admitted to the New York Bar (2013) and the Paris Bar (2014), Olivia holds degrees from the University of Essex and the London School of Economics. She also earned a master's degree in Economic Law from Sciences Po Paris (2012). She was ranked as a leading associate in "EU Competition and Distribution" by the Legal 500 EMEA 2025.
Samuel Tourot has been elected partner in the Tax team. He joined Baker McKenzie Paris in 2016.
Samuel practices in corporate and international tax law. He advises on complex group reorganizations and cross-border transactions. He has significant experience in carve-out operations prior to business disposals and in post-acquisition integration projects. He is also a member of the Firm's Hotels, Resorts and Tourism group.
Admitted to the Paris Bar (2016), Samuel holds master's degrees in Business Law (2012) and Tax Law (2013) from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University. He was named "Ones to Watch" in Tax Law by Best Lawyers in 2024 and 2025.
Alexandre Latte has been elected counsel in the Employment Law Practice, which he joined in 2019.
Alexandre advises French and international companies on all aspects of employment law, particularly in the context of reorganizations. He has specific expertise in supporting companies in the healthcare sector, especially pharmaceutical laboratories. He also handles sensitive individual and collective litigation before relevant courts (labor court, court of appeal, judicial court).
Admitted to the Paris Bar (2016), Alexandre holds a master's degree in Labor Relations Law and Practice from Jean Monnet Faculty – Paris XI (2013).
Lucille Vallet has been elected counsel in the Employment Law Practice. She joined Baker McKenzie Paris in 2014.
Lucille advises French and international companies on all aspects of labor law, particularly in cross-border reorganizations and redundancy plans. She also supports companies in managing sensitive individual and collective disputes.
Admitted to the Paris Bar (2014), Lucille holds an LLM from Washington University in St. Louis (2011) and a master's degree in Labor Law from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University (2010).
