Helmy, Hamza & Partners, Baker McKenzie Cairo office, has been awarded “Infrastructure & Energy Team of the Year” at The Oath Middle East Legal Awards 2023 hosted in Dubai on 23 November 2023. Baker McKenzie was also shortlisted in two other categories, including “Employment Team of the Year” and “Banking & Finance Team of the Year”.
The “Infrastructure & Energy Team of the Year” award recognized Helmy, Hamza & Partners, Baker McKenzie’s Cairo legal expertise in the Egyptian renewables sector, innovation in service delivery and project management in relation to the Amunet Wind farm project. The Baker McKenzie Cairo team acted as the Egyptian legal counsel to a renewable energy provider on the development and financing of a wind farm in Egypt.
