The Washington, DC office of Baker & McKenzie LLP seeks a Legal Secretary to provide administrative and executive support through the effective implementation of business needs in the Tax group, the Washington, D.C. Office, and Baker McKenzie North America.

Responsibilities will include:

  • preparing attorney correspondence and legal document review
  • heavy edits
  • creation/formatting of Power Point presentations
  • creation/formatting Excel reports
  • scheduling and managing complex travel and meeting arrangements
  • submission of legal filings
  • time entry and detailed involvement in client billing
  • performs other duties as assigned

The right candidate will have 5+ years' experience in an executive support role, legal secretary experience preferred. Discretion and strong analytics ability is required in order to find solutions to administrative problems. Works well in a fast-paced environment, and prioritizes assignments to meet strict deadlines. Composing, typing, and proofreading materials. High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
