Description

The e-Billing Timekeeper Maintenance Supervisor will manage the e-billing Timekeeper Maintenance team in the analysis and identification of new timekeepers and submission of the timekeepers and their rates within various e-billing vendor sites.  Collaborate with the in-market and rate analysis teams on escalations necessary to reduce e-billing rejections.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise day-to-day operational aspects of the e-billing Timekeeper Maintenance team
  • Serve as an expert and point of contact guiding stakeholders in the new timekeeper maintenance process including e-billing vendor sites management
  • Ensure timekeeper rate maintenance is completed upon schedule and escalate clients' rate authorization and approvals when required
  • Assist with the resolution of e-bill invoice rejections related to timekeeper rates
  • Support the Firm's annual rate increase process and provide guidelines on submissions within e-billing vendor sites and client communication in close coordination with the Rate Analysis Team
  • Foster an environment of process improvement delivering technical solutions to support and streamline the timekeeper maintenance process and uploads to e-billing vendor sites
  • Collaborate with the creation of  training materials and deliver training to new joiners that support the end-to-end e-billing Timekeeper maintenance process
  • Promote a highly professional and high-performing culture across teams; identify opportunities allowing for employee growth
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned

Experience Required

Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, finance, liberal arts, or related courses 
  • Good experience in a billing and or pricing role
  • General understanding of accounting or finance principles as well as the specific law firm or professional service accounting structure, environment, and requirements
  • Keen attention to detail and effective organizational skills
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Confident to escalate and ask questions, especially when being asked to deviate from standard processes 
  • Knowledge and experience of financial systems (SAP preferred but not required)
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands, including learning new skills when required
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction, follow up on own initiative
  • Flexibility to work a reasonable shifting requirement is required
