Experience Required

Baker & McKenzie seeks highly motivated Junior Tax Associates for its State and Local Tax sub practice group to join Chicago, Dallas, New York or Palo Alto. The successful candidates will have 1-3 years of relevant experience in tax controversy, transfer pricing and/or planning and have an interest in focusing on resolving tax disputes with state and local revenue authorities. The candidate must have strong analytical and writing skills, exceptional speaking and interpersonal skills and the ability to function smoothly in a global-team environment with culturally diverse team members. Top academic credentials are a prerequisite and a LLM in Taxation is a plus. To be considered candidates must be admitted to and be a member in good standing of the state bar where they intend to practice law.
