The Los Angeles offices of Baker & McKenzie LLP is seeking an associate attorney for its Labor & Employment Disputes practice. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of general employment litigation, including complex business disputes and class action litigation experience, as well as a strong interest in employment litigation and counseling. The position will provide hands on, highly challenging and interesting legal assignments. The ideal candidate also will have strong academic credentials and excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills, along with experience in case management, drafting pleadings and discovery, arguing motions and taking and defending depositions. Major top tier law firm experience in a litigation practice is preferred. Must be admitted and a member in good standing of the California Bar to apply. The candidate must have the ability to function smoothly in a global team environment with culturally diverse team members.
