Baker McKenzie’s San Francisco and Palo Alto offices are seeking junior associates (2-3 years experience) and mid-level/senior associates (4-6 years experience) for our Corporate & Securities practice. Candidates will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, negotiation, and execution of a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions for a global client base. Complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions could include cross-border carve outs and acquisitions, post-merger integrations, entity rationalization projects, global expansion projects, and related international corporate matters.
Our Corporate & Securities group collaborates across borders and legal areas on cross-border and domestic transactions. We bring the right know-how and experience to anticipate and resolve issues in all involved jurisdictions, offering a one-stop shop for all deal and transaction related services. Our clients and their transactions touch every major global industry including technology, financial services, manufacturing & engineering, oil & gas, consumer products, media, healthcare and many others. The ideal candidate will have relevant transactional experience, excellent communication, analytical and writing skills, and be highly motivated to work in a cross border environment. International experience is preferred but not required. Candidate may principally reside in San Francisco or Palo Alto, with travel from time to time between locations, and must be admitted and a member in good standing of the CA Bar to apply.
