In our Securities Practice, we represent issuers and investment banks in a wide variety of capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on public offerings, cross-border listings, private placements, debt, equity and equity-linked issues, ’34 Act and corporate governance matters, and the securities law aspects of complex, multi-jurisdictional acquisitions and divestitures involving public companies. Our clients and their transactions touch every major global industry including technology, financial services, manufacturing & engineering, oil & gas, consumer products, media, healthcare, real estate and many others. 

We are seeking an associate attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience for the Transactional Practice Group to be based in either our New York or Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and excellent communication, analytical and writing skills. They will also have substantial capital markets experience, including expertise in the areas listed above. Must be admitted and a member in good standing of the NY or IL Bar, as applicable, or be eligible to sit or waive into the NY or IL Bar.

The US base compensation for this position is expected to be $260,000 to $365,000 annually if located in an office in the city of New York or Illinois. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
