The position is based in San Francisco and Palo Alto but may involve significant foreign travel as required by international clients, and cross border litigation and investigations.
The San Francisco/Palo Alto office of Baker & McKenzie LLP seeks an associate attorney with 1 - 3 years of experience for its Litigation Practice Group, supporting its commercial litigation practice, including complex business disputes, cross-border litigation, class action defense, and white collar investigations. The position will provide hands on, highly challenging and interesting legal assignments. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials from a top 10 law school and excellent communication, analytical and writing skills e.g., Law Review, along with experience in case management, drafting pleadings and discovery, arguing motions and taking and defending depositions. Major law firm experience in a litigation practice preferred, foreign language skills are a plus. Must be admitted and a member in good standing of the California Bar to apply.
