Baker & McKenzie LLP seeks an associate attorney for its Global Equity Services/Compensation practice in San Francisco/Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Chicago, or New York office. The ideal candidate will have one to three years experience in assisting clients in design, implementation and maintenance of global incentive and compensation arrangements, drafting correspondence, memoranda, legal opinions, and other client-related documents; and advising on legal/regulatory/tax matters associated with global compensation arrangements in cross-border M&As, spin-offs, divestitures, IPOs and redomestications. The ideal candidate will also have strong academic credentials and excellent communication and writing skills, and will remain current on issues of U.S. and non-U.S. securities, tax, currency control, employment, and other laws affecting such arrangements Major law firm experience is a plus. Must be admitted and a member in good standing of the Bar in the state of employment.
