Description

The Finance Specialist, Financial Planning & Analysis will support global financial planning and analysis.

 

 
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with all facets of financial planning & analysis, including accounting, reporting, and budgeting
  • Coordinate and support timely and accurate preparation of center overhead and IT reporting
  • Responsible for maintaining the technology model and ensuring accurate and timely monthly allocation of technology costs
  • Monthly reconciliation of technology headcount/full time equivalents
  • Responsible for ensuring technology assets are properly depreciated
  • Planning/budgeting using the Firm's tools, techniques and due dates
  • Assist in preparation of reporting and meeting materials for leadership committee meetings
  • Responsible for researching issues and resolving problems as required
  • Special projects as necessary
 
Skills and Experience:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree focusing on Finance, Accounting or other related areas
  • Experience in Finance Operations/Financial Analysis in a professional services organization is preferred
  • Proven ability to influence, interact and consult with senior leaders regarding finance processes and guidelines
  • Demonstrated expertise in operational efficiency and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in using MS Office and other Productivity Tools including:
    • Strong Excel skills with understanding of formulas and pivot tables
    • Ability to produce and adjust professional PowerPoint presentations
  • Proven ability to assess risk and take decisive, appropriate actions, especially in the case of exception requests
  • Ability to network and collaborate with teams both regional and global, while acknowledging their cultural, social and academic diversity
