Description

The mission of the Baker McKenzie & NBLSA Tax Career Mentor Program is to educate interested NBLSA members about a career in tax law and simultaneously to dispel the idea that one must have a background or particular interest in tax, math, or accounting to have a successful career in tax law.

Baker McKenzie is committed to a diverse workforce and a culture of inclusion. Our diversity makes our global community stronger and helps us in solving complex problems and designing practical solutions. We understand that organizations work best when people with different backgrounds and multiple points of view are brought together. This inclusion and diversity enriches our environment and allows us to better serve the rapidly changing needs of our clients across the world.

As the first truly global law firm, inclusion and diversity are foundational to the culture and strategic vision at Baker McKenzie. In addition to having one of the largest and most well-regarded tax practices in the world, we have more than 13,000 employees in 46 countries who speak 80+ languages, and we strive  to ensure that all of our people feel included and empowered. With more than 4,100 locally admitted lawyers and more than 5,800 business service professionals in 78 offices worldwide, we have a passionately collaborative community of 60 nationalities.
